"Blessed
is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him."
God
forgives US, yes us, you and me, of our sins.
He died
not just for my sins, but for yours, too. He loves us
and doesn't want us to die an eternal death.
I don't know if you have children or not, but as a parent,
we want to
teach our children to do right.
Even when
we're not standing over them. God wants
us to make
the right choices too because we love Him
and are
willing to obey Him. He
wants us to know some
things
(categorized as sins) can hurt us or others.
So he is
trying to protect us, like any loving Father would do.
He wants
us to live forever with Him in Heaven, that will not have
any sin.
No sorrow, no sickness, no death, or disease.
There are
three easy steps to achieve this:
A
Admit you
have sinned. The Bible says all have sinned
(Romans
3:23, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.)
B
Believe
Jesus is God's Son. He took the punishment
for your
sins on Himself by dying on the Cross
(Romans
5:8, But God demonstrates his own love
for us in
this: While we were still sinners,
Christ
died for us.) You must
believe that He is God
and that
He died to offer you forgiveness.
(Acts
10:43, All the prophets testify about him
that
everyone who believes in him receives
forgiveness
of sins through his name.")
C
Confess
your sins. You must be truly sorry for your sins,
forsake
(stop) them, and ask Jesus to forgive
you.
(Acts
3:19, Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be
wiped out,
that times of refreshing may come from the Lord,)
I
sincerely hope that one day you and I will meet again,
in Heaven.
